Our Story
My name is Janice Metzger (formerly Lewis). I lived most of my life in British Columbia and have recently moved to Ontario. I am proud to be the sole owner of Cairnton Kennels Perm Reg'd.
I got my first Cairn Terrier (Hudson) in 1987 from Glenn Sergius and Frank Mesich...McCairn’s Sir Henry Hudson. I had lots of fun with Hudson and basically got hooked on the breed, both showing and breeding…dabbling a bit in obedience and agility.
I prioritize my breeding program around health and good temperament. If I am fortunate to get a show dog in the mix, it is a happy bonus. Cairnton Kennels has had many Champions over the years but more importantly…has provided many homes with healthy, good-tempered loving pets.
